FOOTBALL GOALS - HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST ONES?

2020-09-26

Football is definitely one of the most popular team sports in our country. We can watch the reports from the matches of the Polish national team on practically every TV station, just like the Ekstraklasa. Hence, there is a great interest in this sport among both adults and children. From a very young age, boys willingly take part in trainings and participate in tournaments. This is a sport not only for men, but of course also for women, who also show great interest in this subject.

FOOTBALL GOALS - HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST ONES?

"The ball is one, the goals are two" - probably most people associate this quote, but does the type of goals matter? While during a backyard football game between neighbours from the housing estate, football goals are made of random objects that form a makeshift goal, there is no room for coincidences in a professional game.

Different football goals are available on the market, which may differ from each other by:

● the way of assembly,

● weight,

● dimensions,

● the target group (children, youth, adults),

● purpose (e.g. for the outside, for the hall).

Football goals should have appropriate dimensions to match the participants in the game. Professional football goals are 244 cm high and 732 cm wide. In our offer you will find professional football goals made of aluminium and equipped with special posts and lashings for fixing.

However, for younger sports enthusiasts they will be far too big. There are also youth goals usually available in the sizes 500 x 200 - they come in three types:

- sleeved,

- portable,

- mobile.

We recommend sleeved football goals for youth, which meet FIFA standards and are mainly intended for open sports fields.

Also available are football goals available in smaller sizes - for mini-football. They are suitable for open sports fields as well as indoor facilities.

WHICH FOOTBALL GOALS TO CHOOSE?

Professional goals are designed for both adults and young people. They are characterized by a solid construction, they are full-sized, but at the same time much heavier than others. Professional models will be ideal, as the name suggests, for professional football play. They will prove themselves in stadiums and outdoor sports facilities.

Football goals for children are light, low and have smaller width. Used during trainings of the youngest football enthusiasts - up to 7 years old. Made mainly of plastic, they are also very often portable, thanks to which the coaches can prepare a pitch that suits their youngest pupils just before training.

Football goals for youth are slightly smaller than the professional ones, but larger than the models designed for children. They are also much more stable and the net is stronger due to the higher kick power of the ball compared to children.

Apart from that, football goals are also divided according to the way they are assembled and the raw material they are made of:

Stationary goals - fixed to the ground with sleeves embedded in concrete. This method is usually used on outdoor sports.

Portable goals - free-standing, equipped with hooks and other elements, thanks to which it is possible to assemble and disassemble gates where they are needed. It is a great solution for teams that often train and need to change their position on the pitch.

The most common raw materials for football goals are aluminium and plastic. Aluminium goals are durable, stable and resistant, and lightweight, while plastic ones are very lightweight and is mainly dedicated to children, but are exposed to cracking.

There are also inflatable football goals typically designed for recreational football. All you need is a pump and a little bit of force, and you can also quickly fold it up and pack it in the car at any time.

When selecting the football goals, it is important to pay attention to the target group, which will mainly use the goals, as well as the location where the trainings will take place. No matter if it's a sports hall or an outdoor facility, we offer football goals to suit every situation.
